About Erma Gurd
I started Erma Gurd because we couldn't find bike apparel that captured what we actually love about riding — the early morning roll-outs, the post-ride high, the satisfaction of riding the most energy efficient form of transportation. So I made my own.
Every design here comes from constantly thinking about bikes. The triumph of a perfect berm. The ritual of chain maintenance. The quiet joy of being the only one awake at sunrise, already halfway up the climb.
Who's Behind This
Hi, I'm Steve. I'm a cyclist based in beautiful NorCal and I started Erma Gurd because I was tired of generic cycling merch that looked like it was designed by someone who's never touched a derailleur.
As a designer/illustrator I design everything myself, between rides. Every shirt is something I'd actually wear — because honestly, if I wouldn't wear it, I'm not going to sell it.
Our Promise:
- Soft, durable fabrics that hold up ride after ride
- Designs that celebrate cycling culture, not just slap a bike on a shirt
- Printed on demand, so every order is made fresh just for you
- If something's wrong, I'll make it right — no runaround, no hassle
Why Print on Demand?
I don't hold inventory. Every shirt is printed when you order it. That means no waste, fresher products, and the ability to keep dropping new designs. It also means fulfillment takes a few extra days — and I think that's a worthwhile trade.
Thanks for being here. Now go ride your bike! :)
